TEAM
Individual
During my Interactive Design course at Humber College, I was tasked with designing an app that solves a real-world problem. With the overwhelming number of new car models launching each year, I identified an opportunity to simplify the car comparison experience for potential buyers.
THE PROBLEM
How might we help car buyers efficiently compare vehicle specifications, pricing, and features in one cohesive interface without overwhelming them with information?
THE SOLUTION

A clean, Volvo-inspired comparison app that organizes car data into digestible categories, enabling users to quickly identify differences and make informed purchasing decisions through an elegant, premium interface.
THE DESIGN PROCESS
Discovery & Research
Analyzed existing car comparison tools and conducted user interviews to understand pain points in the car buying journey.
Visual Direction
Established design principles inspired by Volvo's brand identity: minimalist aesthetics, sophisticated typography, and intuitive information hierarchy.
Prototyping
Created high-fidelity prototypes focusing on comparison clarity and visual elegance.
This project challenged me to balance aesthetic elegance with functional clarity. By drawing inspiration from Volvo's design language, I created an interface that feels both premium and approachable.
